Now posting podcasts on www.dgold.info/radio/

Would you like to hear some new music?

Dgold posts his podcast mp3 downloads and weekly webcast streams on the original Honest Tunes radio blog (the Blogger page you're on is a secondary website).

Honest Tunes joins KXUA Blogspot

Today I joined the new KXUA Blogger @ http://kxua.blogspot.com/

But the main blog homepage of my radio show is still http://dgold.info/radio/
which uses WordPress

Search for setlists and new music mp3's on both sites.

Always been the radio child

Search the dial and ELECTRIFY!

Honest Tunes Radio Show, 2 hours of jambands and roots music including jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, country, and rock'n'roll... Plus live recordings, artists interviews, festival announcements, concert ticket give-aways and more

That's all on my main webpage for Honest Tunes Radio at http://dgold.info/radio/

Honest Tunes Blogger site is rarely updated, we do most of our writing and podcasting on the WordPress blog at www.dgold.info

Sometimes I think I know where it's at

Other times I'm completely in the dark. You know baby, a little cause and effect. Van Morrison. JB sings it with Widespread Panic. Satisfied. These soulful artists make the most powerful songs.

I started a WordPress site, also. I will probably use this Blogger account for something, and use the WordPress for something else (currently creating a lyrics collection on WP).

Making music like self-publishing online

Some of the various blog tools and CMS (Content Management Systems) I am comparing include Blogger.com, Moveable Type and Typepad.com, WordPress, TextPattern, Nucleus, Mambo, and others. In some ways I like the non-hosted solutions where I can run it on my web server and modify the software. The best ones in this category use MySQL databases and PHP. The webpages are designed using CSS and XHTML. I hope to learn more and experiment with all these CMS tools.

Blog tool options abound

There are many blog tools, hosted ones and host-your-own's. This is my experiment with Blogger.com which is in the Google family. I would like to create "categories" and different pages for sections of this site.

One step done

One step done and another begun, in I wonder how many miles? Spent a little time on the mountain, spent a little time on the hill. Things went down we don't understand, but I think in time we will.

Today I began converting my earliest blog experiments for the newer purposes of Dgold.info website, the radio show, magazine, setlists, lyrics, and other plans.
